The Florida FWC should be ASHAMED of themselves. Ignorance and intolerance of this sort is the reason that I refuse to move to Florida. I do not even vacation there is I can help it.

This is beyond horrible. As an Environmental Science Major, I always believed in the mission of FWC to protect the natural habitat and the animals within them. Now, this makes me question their true intentions. This was unnecessary and a waste of life.

This just didn't make sense. That wolf was an endangered species and could have been tranquillized at worst.

I have been to Seacrest Wolf Preserve several times. Our church does a Spirit Quest there almost yearly. Our Southeast region has about 100 Youths. This place allow our youths to release personal issue, get together to discussion issue bothering our youth, but the part the youths love the most---inter action with the wolves. This wolf are not aggressive. I fail to understand why such force was necessary. The news media stated That the wolf was not a danger to people or animals . There was no children at the school and the wolf though scare showed no agressive behavior.

All the years being around the Seacrestwolfpresever four legged children.. Has been a Honor... To feel their love .. And knowing who they really are....! And seeing the great love and care Cythia and Wayne give to them all... What a healing moment it is to be around the four leggeds... Which all that have shares it with them have said it is so.... As the tears came into there eyes .... Losing a love one like they just did is so sad and so wrong... For when the storms of Mother Nature comes... It is hard to know what to do... One has to pray for strength ... To keep going....

the person who shot the wolf probably doesn't need to work for the FWC anylonger. There may be other circumstances we don't know about. We need to end this archaic, selfish, angry and so many other adjectives describing these people who would do this senseless destruction. I like the earlier writing. Thank you. Joe Ehrmann

Killing this wolf was despicable and totally unnecessary. You wonder why people do not trust government agencies, it is because they lie to the people. This is exactly what lorida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission did, they lied and murdered a defenseless animal that was being cared for by an agency allowed to do so. SHAME to the FWC! Hope all those involved are fired! You are not about conservation at all. You are despicable!

florida officials must be held accountable for the murder of rare wolf Chaco. Seacrest preserve and citizens alije are outraged by the handeling of this situation. Justice must be served.

Chaco deserves justice. He was a so precious animal not dangerous for people and Fish and Game killed him without reason.
