If you want to kill - kill sex offenders and child abusers!!! Save our wildlife for our children's children too appreciate in real life and not picture books!

This just proves how deceitful the FWC is all over the USA! Especially concerning wolves and wild horses!

This is the most cruel, heartless scenario of the ultimate cruelty of humans. The very agency created to protect animals hunts this beautiful tame wolf, who was lost and trying to get his bearings after his compound at the preserve he, his mate and their only newborn pup lived in was washed out by a flash flood. I not only am signing this petition but praying for Justice for Chaco and his little family and his owners! who loved him dearly.

Chaco was murdered plain and simple. Those who did it under the name of florida government need to be held accountable.

This was senseless and bloodthirsty. I'm certain those FWC officers were a bunch of rednecks eager to brag about how they killed a big, bad wolf. Idiots. The heroic deed would've been to dart the wolf so that he could've been returned to his safe home. Now THAT would've been bragging rights.

I was under the impression that both agencies are supposed to protect wildlife - this is an outrage that they killed Chaco!!!

The FWC needs to be held accountable for their ruthless actions that has caused so many incredible pain. The least need they to get is animal abuse. I would prefer a much higher charge. With this senseless murder of Chaco, each FWC involved will have to answer to the Lord for their EGO TRIP!!! RIP Chaco. You will be greatly missed!

a black bear can be tranquilized in a busy neighborhood and safely transported but Chipley cant keep from killing a friendly wolf hybrid who wasnt even a danger to anyone. something needs to change.

I visited the Seacrest Wolf Preserve last year with my boyfriend for his birthday. They also gave him the honor of being a wolf guardian with a small donation. We learned so many wonderful things from this incredibly unique place. Cynthia also personally invited us to see Legend, as he was not amongst the pack anymore. She had us escorted to his area by a wonderful young man who told us all about him. We met this beautiful creature face to face. Such beauty and strength was awing. We took so many beautiful memories from the special place. It now infuriates me to hear of this heartless act! This woman is the most unique, brave and caring woman I've ever met! She deserved the right to be 100% informed of all of their intentions! I hope and believe that justice will come for that beautiful wolf! And for our wonderful Cynthia!

Such a senseless killing. FWC....the last letter stands for CONSERVATION, per Wikipedia, "Conservation is the act of preserving, guarding, or protecting". It say nothing about killing.
