FWC was fully aware that because of the floods, this wolf was loose. What they did is absolutely despicable and most certainly grounds for firing!

I was outraged, it was uncalled for.. I thought they were trying to help return him not to kill him. They should be charged.

This act utterly disgusts me. If it doesn't digust you as well you don't deserve to serve the people of Florida.

I can't believe this happened. This is outright unjustified and unbelievable. There was no right for the Fish and Wildlife Services to kill this beautiful creature (of which has a incredibly rare bloodline).

The FWC needs to be held Accountable for murdering that poor wolf. Those involved should be fired, and put in jail.

It is absolutely ridiculous that Chaco was killed by the hands of the FWC on May 4, 2014. The situation was carried out so poorly and unprofessionally that I am at a loss for words. Instead of trying to humanely capture and tranquilize Chaco to safely and securely bring him back home to the preserve, he was shot and murdered instead. I have yet to hear any good reasoning behind these motives of the FWC and quite frankly I don't even care to. It is saddening and cruel that an institution like the FWC would handle animal affairs in such a manner, and take the life of an innocent creature.
I, too, request an extensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Chaco’s cruel murder that will bring forth the accountability and consequences on the FWC officers responsible.

What they didto Chaco and Cynthia Watkins is unbelievable. The FWC can not be trusted which is shown in this case again. Those people who mislead Ms Watkins are surely responsible for the death of Chaco and should be punished to the max. Not just a slap on the wrist. The FwC is becoming more and more a disgrace for the animals.

This is outrageous. Chaco was tame and could have been recaptured without a problem. Hold those responsible accountable for their brutish actions and lies.
