We need to preserve wild animal species, not eliminate them! There was no need for killing this wolf. I would like to see Fish and Wildlife change their focus from "controlling" animals to conservation.

another example on uneducated police officers using their authority, rather than their brains. Kill what you don't understand. Morons.

A beautiful animal like this should not have been killed. Someone needs to held accountable for not thinking this out. We need to hear more why they took it upon themselves to kill the way they did. This animal was taken away from all of mankind....Why?

This is absolutely appalling. I was under the impression that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was a wildlife conservation organization—“conservation” is part of the Commission’s name, and there’s even a section on conservation on the Commission’s website. The Commission’s wanton killing of a protected sanctuary resident wolf is an act of animal cruelty rather than one of respect for our natural environment. I demand an extensive and transparent investigation of the actions of these FWC officers, who must be held accountable for this outrageous act.

they killed a friendly animal, that posed no danger to anyone. They are sadists and need to be put in jail for what they did. That will set the example.for the rest to think it very well through before assassinating an inocent animal.

I just can't understand why any animal is killed by the Florida Fish And Wildlife Conservation Commission. I hope someone gets fired for the murder of a protected wolf. Please stop this kind of "protection".
