Shame on these scum that shot and killed Chaco, they were asked to dart him so he could be taken back to the preserve, but no these retards killed him, these people need to be removed from their jobs as they do not deserve to have the job, they went out with the intention of killing this magnificent Wolf , who deserved to live , they are nothing but evil lowlife bastards shame on them

This is a terrible act. The officers in charge should be penalized and reduced in duties. The entire FWC should be educated in the behavior of wolves.

I am completely outraged by the handling of this. There was and is absolutely no valid reason for killing this beautiful creature!

Senseless killing. This animal should have been tranquilized and returned to the habitat. Shooter murdered this majestic animal and should be held accountable.

Shame on you, FWC. Someone needs to be fired for the uncaring, carless and inhumane execution of this beautiful wold, Chaco. I hope you have trouble sleeping every night after doing this to Chaco! You, FWC, are a Joke and a terrible example of a Wildlife Conservation Commission. FIRE THE ONE WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GIVING THIS ORDER!!!

Florida Fish and Wildlife is a great organization that does a lot for the proection of the environment and local wildlife. They have a lot of power, however, and sometimes it goes to their heads. They are the kings of wildlife organizations and do whatever they want and this time it ended in the shameful killing of the very thing they should be protecting.

Just visited this place yesterday and was so impressed, was very sadden to hear about the tragic end to Chaco's life, why couldn't they have used a tranquilizer?

These are the same people that killed my friends dog because they thought he was "dangerous" when he got out of their yard and we were looking for him. Fish and Wildlife should be to protect life, not end it

I've volunteered at the preserve several times and am always in awe of these magnificent creatures, not at all the malicious killers they are made out to be. My heart goes out to all of those who knew and loved this beautiful animal, I hope to see justice served to the senseless killers.

I began volunteering with my father at the Seacrest Wolf Preserve when I was 14 years old. To say the Seacrest wolves are lifechanging creatures is an understatement. The behavior of the officers involved is nothing short of cruel, disturbed, and heartless. The least this innocent animal deserves is an investigation..

This is a prime example of wildlife being destroyed because of lack of attention and biased people working in places they don't belong with such attitudes. Wolves are empathetic, watchful creatures. Chaco posed nobody any harm; hand raised by professionals and raised interacting with humans in positive manners. This won't go without attention, and equal outrage. There was no need,
