Rip Buttons!

There is no excuse for people to not have control of their dog. If it happens unexpectedly ONCE, then let that be the first indication that you have a problem and need to take steps to have more control over your pet. NEVER is it OK for a dog to kill or injure another animal and worse yet - what happens if a young child were the target - what if it was YOUR child!!

RIP Buttons. Aggressive dogs - regardless of breed need have owners that understand how to manage them. Obviously that didn't happen here. Bad owners and Buttons paid the ultimate price. <3

A dog who has shown aggressive behaviour in the past and his owners do not take the necessary precautions to keep others safe. The result is the dog takes a precious little life. The humans do not deserve to be animal owners and the dog needs to be put down. Common sense. RIP Buttons

This is making me more angry than I already am about poor Buttons, to listen to the defending of the attacker (dog & owners) is ridiculous! This dog was given a second chance already! (Unlike Buttons)Once , is enough, and now it is supposed to get another chance!? Nothing is going to take the pain away for Button's loved ones, but if the owners are such dog lovers themselves, they should be sick about what has happened and make every attempt to apologize and do the right thing! Regardless what type of dog or creature attacks another , it must be held accountable ! My sister was killed by a bear, and yes I was thankful that the bear was killed, so it could never attack again. It doesn't make me want all bears to wear a muzzle, or to be put down... But if they attack, and are in the wrong place, as this unpredictable dog was something must be done,... To the attackers: Put yourself in someone else's shoes ! .. "How would you feel if your dog was killed at the jaws of another? And yes , could be even worse next time .. A defenceless child!

Bull Mastiff should never have been allowed in public after the first attack.

If people really love their dogs they socialize them, unfortunately some do not.

Owners must be held accountable for their dogs actions! We need tougher laws for dangerous dogs and dangerous dog owners.

People have to be held responsible for their pets. It is guaranteed that if this dog has done this before, it will do this again in the future and hurt another precious pet or a child.

Owners who have dogs that have been deemed aggressive have to be held responsible for the dog's actions. If that means putting the dog down for a second offence then so be it.

Dogs deemed dangerous should Never be allowed off leash or be put down!

Yes, tougher laws are needed for dangerous dogs! Not only should the dog's owners lose their dog, but they should be made to pay hefty fines also.

This is simply outrageous. Buttons was a wonderful dog and was a part of a lovely family. He brightened up life for so many people! Dangerous dogs, like dangerous people, should not be allowed to attack freely without consequence especially, if it was already identified as dangerous

The large dog deemed dangerous is a high risk and may injure a child or another small animal. Clearly the owner is incapable of responsible behaviour with this dangerous animal.

Tragic & sad & hope the owner of this dog who is the offending dog ' will think about never letting this dog around children or other dogs .
