More must to be done, to stop dangerous dogs being out in the public. This dog had already attacked once and now this innocent dog was killed because this dangerous dog was out! Please put a stop to this!!

This just goes to show that not everyone should own a large dog breed. They take time to be trained, disciplined and instructed. One should not own a dog if they cannot control that dog. Also, dogs and cats are not "chattels" and this law should also be changed in the future.

That is just not right, if the dog already had one incident before on the bylaw, the owner should have just kept the dog at home and not to bring into public area like McDonald, even with muzzle, as some times people can not know why a dog can suddenly act up. In a way it is not 100% the dog's fault, the owner as well is at 60% at fault of not properly training the dog and get the dog help the first simular incident.

Same thing happened to my dog. A pit/bullmastiff mauled it to death. The worst thing that's ever happened to me. These vicious dogs must be stopped!!!!

We are sick of the pets and people injured and killed by out of control dangerous dogs. If their owners can't comply with simple laws on the books, society will be forced to legislate breed specific laws.

Information on breed specific legislation at www.banpitbulls.org including US and Canada attack records, and the many different ways our communities can be protected. Pitt Meadows removed their breed-specific language in 2013 and needs to look at this issue again.

These fighting-bred dogs must be regulated or banned altogether. Too many people and animals (especially small dogs like Buttons) are getting killed and maimed by them.
