We don't need to protect dangerous dogs with uncapable owners. It's time to do better for citizens. Nobody needs to own a dangerous dog in this day and age. We need safety for people, not large, vicious and potentially violent dogs anywhere in Canada.

Late in Aug. of this year our Shih Tzu/shelty cross, all of 13 lbs. was throttled by an Argentine Dogo (100lbs) on our daily morning beach walk. Hardly a fair fight. Lulu had to be put down from her injuries. We feel for you and your loss of Buttons. We will be working on the Ont. government to change laws here.

The rally was very successful with many people joining us, along with beloved pets. The McDonald's made a passionate presentation before PM Council with a city hall & chambers filled! Continue to share the petition. We provided a copy with 250 signatures and would be happy to provide an updated copy with many more! Thank you!!

Being 'Politically Correct" means "Safety First" for our families. Pitt Meadows Council members need to make dangerous dog- breed owners accountable... at ALL times...on and off their own property. They should be forced to have their animals insured with a liability of ? $ million just like fast cars.

The dog should be put down immediately, it's owner fined $10,000. Half of the fine should go to Button's owners

The owner of this dog should receive a fine of $10,000 and his dog should be put down. He was responsible and it was his duty to make sure that his aggressive dog could not harm others.

I fully support this. As an owner of a pug this frightens me that people can get away with this! Our dogs are like children to us... And I find it unacceptable that someone should be allowed to walk away after this with no repercussions! I'm so sorry for your loss... Hopefully this petition will make a difference for all concerned dog owners!
