Running from the scene makes you wonder if there is more going on. If a true accident, then why run, maybe scare, but still no excuse.

Fleeing the sene of an accident, fatigued driving ( impared ) they need to check his breaks and the wieght may be negligent as well, and don't forget distracted driving

I hope Ashley gets the justice she deserves. There is no reason why he shouldnt be charged with vehicular manslaughter plus other charges like reckless driving. He should have been paying more attention to the road.
