This is horrendous and my heart breaks for that and his innocent dog. Law enforcement no longer serves to protect us, but rather to terrorize and bully us. That's not what this country is supposed to be about.

This was horrible to watch but mostly it was abusive and inhumane and it is time that the police officers stop acting like every 30 lb pet is out to get them

I am outraged that a police officer that should be PROTECTING PEOPLE would shoot a dog for SHITTING. The dog was not dangerous, the complaint was not dangerous. This police officer should be fired, and the next time he takes a shit, maybe someone can shoot him.

God rest the dogs soul my heart brakes for the owners. these. police really need to stop this madness .Are they so afraid of animals. they all carry pepper spray. why are they so over noted to use the power on helpless animals?

Officers need to learn how to handle canine encounters without resorting to bullets. We all could learn how to better deal with those suffering from mental illness.

Those officers needs to have something done to them, along with the department. Shoting a poor dog for running away, hell I would be running away to if you were shoting at me. PLEASE DO SOMETHING>

This was insane.....what the hell is going on in this country? Everytime I turn around a dog has been killed by cops. Animals do have rights also.....these cops acted irrationally. Then not to give the family the body and throwing in a dump is unforgiveable. These officers should be put on unpaid leave until their actions are explained.
