If the law abolished no parole, how or why is this even a question? People make me sick. Let these men out to get back to their families (especially kids) and move on. What purpose does no parole for a nonviolent offender serve?

Long term incarceration for non violent crimes is not the solution to dictate an individuals reform. It only adds to the overcrowding and overworked staff resulting in creating hostile environments that will in turn further increase family separation and ultimately raise the recidivism rate which is a lose lose for the unjustly sentenced non violent individuals as well as the working class by higher taxes will continue to grow due to the lengthy warehousing of non violent individuals.

If the purpose for prison is rehabilitation and he’s been rehabilitated; keep him free! If the law has changed and he’s eligible for parole; keep him free! Stop keeping our black men away from their families!!

Do not put this man back into prison. He is showing that he can be a productive member of society and there is no need to have him sent back to prison for a non-violent drug crime that he's leaned his lesson from.

The young people in this community need Mr Woods, he is an example of a life turned around and they will listen to him. He has spent enough time in prison to pay for his crime already. It serves no purpose to incarcerate him again.
