We have a young man that is making a difference to his family so please help me understand why is the State trying to reverse his freedom! I ask that you see Demetrious as a young man and not judge him based on the color of his skin. My prayers!

Why take his freedom when he is showing change not just in himself but in the community as well

We need positive role model out here to use they life struggle to push others to change they situation. A man who was a influential person in the community as a bad role model go to prison do a long percentage on that sentence change his life get a chance to come home and show the community that he have changed his life and can still be a influential person but a positive person after all his trials in life can have a big impact on the community. I come from the same struggles and the community needs a positive role model like him out here. He didn’t kill nobody and he have right his wrongs.

I met Mr. Woods in the summer of 2019. He took me right off the street and offered me employment opportunity as well as guidance in certain areas of my life where it was needed. I have personally seen his intentions for the rest of his time in Earth, as well as his motivation to infect his community with positive influence towards growth and change. To deny a city thirsting for leaders in this area would be an abomination not only in the Name of Justice, it would further show that elected officials of this State have no interest in promoting the growth of moral decency and ethics in our cities that are dying without such influence. Also, I personally feel based on my understanding of the law, it would be a personal attack by th Missouri A.G. on the very civil rights of Mr. Woods, who in spite of NUMEROUS obsticles, has in all reality become the model for an ex-offender. Do not allow this to happen.

I met Dimetrious in May 2019. He is an inspiration not only to entrepreneurs, but he has made a big impact on hate related crimes by teaching and spreading the word to our youngsters. I have watched him grow and be their for his own kids. I would like to continue to watch him grow as he has inspired me in so many ways. He deserves a second chance in my opinion, because he has proved that he is a changed man. I would like to see him grow in our community and be a mentor for these kids in the streets that don’t have that kind of support at home. Thank you for your time and the consideration for ending this nightmare for him and his family. - Megan Parenti RN- BSN
