On this day, Saturday, August 12, 2023, I had witnessed one of the most mortifying things in my life. A 14 year-old African-American girl was being hauled out of an After-School Party for Davis High School by two security agents, Betty Buckley and Kyle Lockett, who are both displayed within the images, below.
Kyle Lockett, who is supposed to be a well-trained de-escalatory security agent, protecting the lives of our children at this after-party, referred to this 14 year-old African-American minor as a "B*TCH" directly in front of everybody within the celebratory party. When I had confronted Kyle Lockett about his unacceptable vocabulary, he proceeded to stick the middle finger up at my face. This ain't about me, however, so I won't go further with that one. But, this ain't the type of behavior that we want in our community.
Betty Buckley, here, is supposed to be disciplined and trained in her field, utilizing reasonable force to de-escalate violent incidences, alongside with serving and protecting these high school students. She, however, thought it would be acceptable, as a grown woman, to endlessly strike the child with her BARE FISTS until she was UNCONSCIOUS.
If this was a white girl? We ALL know it would be different, but I ain't trying to make this a racial issue. Not right now, I ain't. But, what I do know? Neither security agents are fit for their positions of power over the men, women, and children of San Andreas. Security agents require self-restraint both verbally and physically, and these acts, committed today, do not meet those requirements.
I asked for an apology, hoping to gain some empathy for their actions, but was only met with hostility. Middle fingers, cursing, and threats, on my end. These Devils have zero shame, empathy, or compassion, what-so-ever. I firmly believe that many deserve a second chance, but not these folks, for they have zero empathy in their hearts. Too riddled with demons, as the Devil whispers on their shoulder to boost up that Ego of theirs. Jesus saves, not your Ego. They have NO empathy, and for this, I will NOT back down.
SIGN THIS PETITION TO HAVE BOTH BETTY BUCKLEY & KYLE LOCKETT TERMINATED FROM THEIR POSITION AS SECURITY AGENTS, ALONGSIDE WITH HAVING THEIR GUARD CARDS REVOKED!

I am still meeting with legal advocates to ensure these names stay on the record. The silence from the school administration is loud but I refuse to let them ignore the footage of what happened to that girl.

Seeing this kind of energy behind the petition gives me hope that people are finally refusing to look away from what happened to that girl. I am overwhelmed by the strength you have all brought to this fight for accountability.

This is NONSENSE. These guards need to be TRAINED. As a security professional who has never faced any legal actions due to firearm recklessness and incapability to use common sense i am SHOCKED and DISGUSTED! What are they going to do next? Point guns at random people carrying boxes out of their house and stand in front of a moving car so they get ran over??? Get a grip you two!
