Mr Denesha was THE best teacher I have ever had in my educational journey. Not only from BHS, but from elementary school, middle school, and beyond. They say "if you choose a job you love, ull never work a day in you life". Mr Denesha has a passion for his job that is hard to find. He makes learning exciting! So much so, that you don't even realize that you are learning. He made me want to learn, and has been an inspiration to me and so many others. To think that BHS, a school that I want to be proud to say I attended would risk loosing a teacher like this makes me saddened and embarrassed. We pride our school in the rankings and awards we have received, so why should we allow one of the teaches who helped us to get there go? You never realize what you had until it's gone. I hope this petition will change minds about Mr. Denesha, because BHS wouldn't be the same without him.

Mr. Denesha is one of the best teachers out there, who is always makes classroom time engaging. He makes class enjoyable for all and if barrington high school doesn't give him tenure then they will loose one of the most inspirational, thought provoking, motivating, and much more, teacher out there.

He's a great teacher. He's fun, kind, and just a chill guy. Unless 220 can provide a valid reason as to not provide him tenure D should be top of the list. And I have yet to hear a legitimate reason.

My son was lucky enough to have Mr. Denesha for 2.5 years-English, Debate & Myth. If a reason that he is being denied tenure is truly because "he did not make it easy enough online in infinite campus for students & parents to monitor the student's growth in writing...." that could not be further from the truth! We always felt like we had a strong sense of progress and it is now reflected in his writing overall thanks to Mr. Denesha! Let's not lose another GREAT teacher to a tenure issue in Barrington 220.

I had Mr. Denesha as my speech teacher my sophomore year, and he has remained one of my favorite BHS teachers. Not only is he knowledgable and enthusiastic about the subjects he teaches, he also genuinely cares about the well-being of his students. He always goes above and beyond the norm of what a teacher is supposed to do for their students. I strongly advise the administration to rethink their decision, especially for an outstanding teacher like Mr. Denesha.

I had Denesha my junior year, and every year before that I hated English. He made me want to learn the subject. His energy is outstanding, and he knows how to motivate and help the ones who just don't give a damn. He was willing to help anytime of the day. So for a teacher this good, to be denied something like that, is ridiculous. Especially because some of the teachers who do have it, don't know what to do with it.

Aunt of Alex Wright, former BHS student. After reading some of the comments, it is evident that he had made an impact on students for the better. I goes that the powers to be reconsider to keep such a loved and inspirational teacher.
