Mr. Denesha has been unfairly denied tenure from Barrington High School and as a result will be forced to leave the BHS community next year. I petition that due to Mr. Denesha's positive impact on the student body, enthusiasm for storytelling and coaching forensics, and widespread support that he has rightfully earned throughout the Barrington High School and greater Barrington Community, that he ought to be tenured by Barrington High School and warmly received into many more years of teaching at BHS.

Though not a teacher of mine, Mr. Denesha has always been one of my favorite faculty members at the high school. As a forensic teams member, his dedication to the program is inspiring. Mr. Denesha is one of Barrington's finest teachers and deserves the best.
Mr. Denesha was easily one of my favorite teachers, he made freshman year easier for me to transition because he is such a lively spirit and radiates positivity. I know he's helped some of my friends through difficult times and is always there for his students
He's the best teacher I've had in the past four years by far (freshmen English). He taught my class more than just writing skills. He taught us key life skills that still have a positive impact on me. He deserves tenure!
Mr. Denesha is one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. He was always so enthusiastic every single day. He truly has a passion for teaching. By not giving him tenure, District 220 is losing one of the greatest teachers to walk the halls of Barrington High School.
Mr. Denesha is a phenomenal speech teacher and was a huge asset to last year's musical as assistant director. I would sorely miss his smiling face and enthusiasm, and the administration would be making a mistake to not reconsider offering Mr. Denesha the tenure he deserves.
If Mr. D is forced to leave BHS, then my alma mater is DEAD to me.
Mr.Denesha even though I haven't had him formally as a teacher, I belive has made an positive impact towards our school.

He made a huge impact on my daughter's time at Barrington High School. He really cares about his students. He shouldn't lose his job, schools need more teachers with the same passion as Mr. Denesha and less teachers that show up just to collect a paycheck.
