Mr. Denesha is a phenomenal speech teacher and was a huge asset to last year's musical as assistant director. I would sorely miss his smiling face and enthusiasm, and the administration would be making a mistake to not reconsider offering Mr. Denesha the tenure he deserves.

Mr Denesha was my freshman year english teacher as well as my debate coach. He made me care about a subject that i had never had really high regards for at any other point in my school career. I always found it a boring class. But Mr Denesha turned that view around and helped me see the beauty of literature and english. His attitude in class as well as walking past him in the halls is contagious and he is definitely a positive influence on students and the english department.
As a coach, he is more than that. He didn't need to take over the Lincoln-Douglas team when our old coach was let go. He could have just let the team wither away. But he saw the passion we had for the activity and could not let that disappear. This is why it pains me to see him go. He supported our team even when we acted in ways that made him seriously consider quitting. He saw the passion and shouldered through, and i'm infinitely grateful for that.
For those reasons i agree with this petition. I believe Mr Denesha has gone far above and beyond what is required of him as a teacher and an educator. He, in my mind, has far beyond earned his tenure and BHS will have lost a great man and a great teacher if he leaves.

Dear BHS Administration,
Mr. Denesha is one of the greatest people at BHS that I've ever met. He showed me my passion for debate and encouraged me throughout my debate career. Not only is Mr. Denesha the greatest coach ever, but he is probably one of the greatest teachers I know of. In addition, denying Mr. Denesha tenure, will ruin the lives of a few special individuals on the debate team. Not only does Mr. Denesha take us to tournaments and encourage us to do our best, but he also brings us together. He is what makes our team so special. Without Mr. Denesha, there is no team.

I've never had Mr. Denesha as a teacher , but he without a doubt impacts and connects with each of his students . Im disappointed BHS would make a choice like this by not supporting him , I believe its a huge mistake and will make a negative impact on his fellow co-workers and the student body .

Mr. Denesha is by far one of the best teachers I ever had! Not only did he teach my class about mythology, he made us want to learn about mythology. I don't just consider him a teacher. I consider him a friend. From the other comments I've seen here, it seems like that's the case with other people too. I believe that he has made me a better person and I would hate to see him be let go. He deserves to stay!!!!

BHS has made a grave error in not supporting Mr. Denesha. I am disappointed in BHS for doing this.

I've never had Mr. Denesha as a teacher, but I know just from his continuous cheerful nature that he's one of the best teachers at Barrington. He has the ability to make special connections with all students and Barrington would be making a grave mistake by losing one of their finest instructors.
