I used to live over in that area and moved to West Cobb to get away from the overcrowding in East Cobb. Now they are trying to do the same thing over here. We (all Cobb residents) need to come together and make our voices heard with the BOC that we are OPPOSED to increased density throughout Cobb County.
They say they need more tax revenue so they want to add more homes. If they don't overdevelop, the value of our homes will increase due to demand, which will put more tax $$ into their pockets.

Z-68 will make this Bad traffic situation even Worse. First the Kroger Gas station then SD at Childers with only a 3 car deep Left In turn lane and now this. This is Nuts!!! Looks like no one at the County is controlling the "Common Sense Gate!"

Residents of East Cobb would appreciate being the focus of the Commisioners for a change, instead of the developers. This will significantly impact traffic negatively and turn our wonderful neighborhood into a rush-hour parking lot.

This will create an unnecessary burden on the existing infrastructure. It is not keeping with the adjacent single family homes and should not be permitted.

Cobb Commission,
Please keep these parcels zoned for R20 or change the zoning to commercial. Better yet, use some of the bond money approved for parks and buy this property and turn it into a community park. We need zoning that will not increase the number of cars living in this area of the county.

There is already way too much OVER DEVELOPMENT in this area. We are very concerned over the impact this will have over quality of life, and property values over the coming years. Traffic at peak hours is almost at a stand still now- it will only get much worse with continued development of EVERY available plot of land! Not to mention the negative environmental impact it is creating with loss of trees, displaced animals, excessive water runoff, etc. Please do not allow this any more.

I can't imagine any more traffic on Johnson Ferry. It's a nightmare as it is and the junction around Johnson Ferry and Shallowford could just not handle any more cars. Please reconsider.

Approval of rezoning this property was denied when !ester Maddox applied for rezoning years ago so why would you do it now when traffic is heavier than it ever was back then. I am STRONGLY against this rezoning!
