The Petition of certain citizens of the county of Pembrokeshire draws attention of the County council to the proposed change of priority at the Junction for Wallaston Green , Valero & Power Station on the B4320.
The Petitioners therefore request that this proposal is rejected and if necessary other proposals be investigated where the junction priority remains the same or equal priority junctions developed.
The council has officially acknowledged the petition and we are currently preparing our formal testimony for the next planning session. Send a quick email to your local representative today to insist they review the safety concerns we have laid out. Direct your neighbors to this link so we can keep the pressure high while we wait for their response.

The momentum behind our opposition to the junction priority change is undeniable now. Send this link to your local council representative today to ensure they understand our position remains unchanged.

For anyone who lives in Angle who has an already lengthy drive to work this would add on time that could not be calculated as the amount of traffic heading to Valero is consistent for miles. This would then effect jobs, childcare issues and family routine but mostly the safety of anyone having to take this journey. Any delays for people driving from Angle/Fresh west would build up on a road that is not suitable and not wide enough for 2 lanes therefore backing up in both directions in high season. How is this helping residents of the area or even workers at Valero?

I oppose this proposed change for it will mean people from Angle will have to wait forever to get past the junction. Also my parents suffered a terrible accident with a lorry failing to stop at the junction. It ought not to change.

This proposal is ludicrous, the drivers from Valero already drive at breakneck speeds and this alteration will give them priority with no need to slow down at all. As the road is at the moment at least they have to slow down a little on the approach to the junction. It will also cause tail backs - especially in the summertime - in both directions which will have a knock on effect as the Angle/Freshwater road is too narrow in places to pass. Lets face it the Valero traffic doesn't have to wait very long to get out of this junction and that serves its purpose in slowing them down during the getting home race. Unfortunately, if this proposal goes ahead I fear fatalities will become a regular occurrence on this road.

This change would put the wishes of big business over the needs and safety of the local residents.

I used to live at Wallaston Green and we could not get out into the traffic in a morning or teatime as a large proportion of them already drive like idiots and will not give way even when having to stop in the traffic up to the junction. This will just encourage them to drive even faster in the time I lived at Wallaston Green there were 2 cars on there roofs in the ditches on bends and numerous motorcyclists came off this will just make it worse and in a time when everywhere is continually telling us they are short of cash, what a complete and utter waste of cash that could be far better used elsewhere

The junction as it is acts as a traffic calming measure, if it is altered the speed of the traffic travelling to Valero will only increase... it’s like a scene from wacky racers as it is at the beginning and end of the day!!

I strongly oppose this proposal as it will encourage drivers to speed on a road that already has a record of accidents, surely in this time of austerity our money could be spent elsewhere. Please listen to us local people, I have not heard one person who would support change.

workers already drive at excessive speed to and from this area.
Angle and freshwater is filled with families and holiday makers.
If you spend the money to change the junction, you will increase the risk of fatalities. And then likely hood of that fatality being a child will increase. Nobody will want that to happen for the sake of a quicker commute.
Save the money.... and save lives.
