Josey Jewell is the best of leaders. Quick tough alert and reads the offense better then any back in the country. Iowa would have lost way more games if not for Josey Jewell

Josef Jewell is worthy of the award by sheer statistics alone. He is more than deserving when adding in the character he demonstrates both on and off the field.
