Generations of families who have worked long and hard with great pride in our homes and land to have our idyllic life destroyed by the pillage of our precious (and, rare) pure agricultural land lost forever by corporate greed. The tainting of our water supply and precious resources being put at risk, choking our ill equipped residential country roads with transport trucks and excess traffic, pollution and noise is an unforgivable invasion by corporate power and pillage. I stand firm against this rezoning action.

Mayor Cam Guthrie and city council, it's time to stop rezoning AGRICULTURAL anything to commercial. How aboit building on sites that fopd and farm products CAN'T be grown on. Develop swale areas instead. Please.

Seems the local area was not designed for a commercial type company footprint and the obvious traffic it will bring.

If this is truly environmentally protected land, there’s no question that they need to find a more suitable area.

We do not need the extra traffic un the area HW7 is not able to sustain the flow and keep the community living along the highway safe while entering or leaving their own driveways with the CURRENT amount of traffic. I risk getting rear ended DAILY already and don't want want added stress of more traffic through the small town.

There is land in Guelph and surrounding area already zoned for this type of enterprise and the last we looked, that land is NOT on Jones Baseline. As nearby neighbors, we would be appalled if this re-zoning went ahead, what with the resultant increased vehicular traffic, noise and visual disruption, as well as the water supply being negatively affected. Use the land already designated for manufacturing!
