This is a ridiculous idea so close to residential houses with children not to mention the noise and light pollution this will inflict on neighbouring lots

They should keep this area the way it is, as agricultural land. It will be total destruction to this peaceful area.

I'm against

A rural residential and agricultural area is not the place for an industrial manufacturer.

This should be in an industrial section, but they chose this spot to save the millions. Go to an industrial section - there are plenty in Guelph/Eramosa

There are more appropriate sites that can be used for this that don't encroach on agricultural land.

The rezoning and Minus Forty company will have a negative impact on the physical and community environment, potentially disturb well water quality, the ground water and the Eramosa river corridor, cause loss of more farmland that is being actively planted and harvested, ++ traffic (truck accident/overturned just occurred at Hwy 7 and Jones Base Line roundabout. How will our road infrastructure be able to safely accommodate trucks from the 11 loading docks at the proposed Minus Forty Plant that plans to operate from 7 to 11 daily in this location. We need to plan smart. Protect farmland, protect the environment, etc.

Strongly opposed to this rezoning application. These lands must remain protected for our and our children’s future

Corporations such as this seem to be able to find ways around real environmental and water source studies. It seems as if an increase in the tax base of an area trumps the real effect on homeowners, and the environmental impact on the area.

Too much agricultural land is being lost to corporate development. It seems that either large housing tracts or industrial plants are going in. When do we stop changing zoning to appease big business? Where will our food be grown if this continues.

We need to keep our good agriculture land for farmers to feed families

Rezoning agricultural land does not make sense when there is vacant land in industrial areas.

This is madness.
