It's not appropriate use of the land. We need agricultural land not more industrial land. We definitely do not need the traffic. Also the proposed facility is located on sand gravel which is directly in contact with groundwater, as such, any spills or contamination would go directly to the groundwater which is used for Guelphs and surrounding areas drinking water supply.

This land is needed for agriculture.

Stop building factories on prime farmland! We need to protect farmland and natural spaces.

The invasion of industry into neighbourhoods where people have been allowed to build their homes needs to stop. We should be entitled to noice free environments in our homes.

It is unacceptable to rezone agricultural land for this purpose not to mention the huge negative impact on the surrounding homes. Surely there is marginal land not fit for agricultural purposes near Georgetown that would be more appropriate usage.

100% behind protecting all of our natural resources. We don't need any more traffic on our quiet rural roads which will be surely impacted.

I grew in this area and the Indian Trail was my playground where I found arrowheads and imagined the first peoples of this region walking on the very ground I was on. I can not think of a more beautiful place!! I can not fathom the audacity of this company to think this would fly! Our trusted elected officials better be on the right side of this issue! Factories and for cities!!!

In these days, how can we even CONSIDER changing zoning from "Environment Protected" to anything else! We do not need more traffic on our roads, for climate change reasons. We do not need or want industrial lands in our rural area. Especially looking to the future, we need to keep our farmland and we need to reduce development. Factories, and even office and admin complexes need to be where working populations can get to them, not out in the country, surrounded by farmland and no bus service. When already established businesses move from municipalities to farm country, how many of the existing employees then have to commute from the old municipality to the new one, to keep their jobs. NO NO NO to changing the zoning!!!!

We have seen enough unethical actions by the, so called, environmentally conscious, wind turbine industry. Please make these people locate in a properly designated industrial area and follow current manufacturing and environmental laws.

So sad to hear this appalling use of rural land when vast tracts are being established as industrial parks nearby (Maltby/Hanlon area)

Please stop this! As someone who will be directly affected by the damage from this proposed business and the pollution to our aquatic water supply, we can't let this happen to our rural families .

People moved out this way to get away from busy areas. Not so one can be built in their backyard.

Not my will, but Yours be done, oh LORD.

Just think of the schools you see in the middle of your subdivision and now replace that school with a factory over 4x the size of Costco. Not only will Prime Agricultural land be destroyed forever but there is also a significant threat to the local water supply in the neighborhood and beyond. Noise, Traffic, Light Pollution are also some of the humour outs issues that will be unavoidable if this Rezoning is allowed to pass. Please HELP our cause by also signing this petition
