It is wrong to put a large industrial plant around rural homes that have been there for almost half a century.

Disgusting that the Guelph Eramosa council would even think about turning this land into a factory. I lived on that farm and the limestone isvery close to the surface, it actually comes out of the ground 30 or so metres to the south of the property. Any parking lot/roof runoff will end up downhill in the wetlands.

I believe this is no place for a industrial building. This is residential and agriculture.and should be keep that way. This should be built in a industrial park

Why not put this plant in Guelph by the Halo where roads are already designed for heavy truck transportation connecting to the 401? We are over developing Ontario farmlands, cutting downtown many trees unnecessarily. Why can't they build the new plant in Georgetown?

Suppose we do not make responsible decisions today: we - the community - the families - the children - our eco system pay dearly tomorrow. My question is, have we not learned? Have irresponsible decisions not cost us enough?

While I would pick this site if I were a business owner and if the City's focus was economic devlopment solely, I think that wellhead protection and conservation of environmentally sensitive lands too often take a back seat to development. Could some of the land at the former Dolime quarry suit?

If they allow this atrocity to take place, then NO agricultural land going forward will be safe.
