The RRPP program has been the key source of funding for regional and interdisciplinary academic research. It revived, refreshed and bridged the academic capacity of the Western Balkans. I strongly support this initiative and I hope the donor community will understand the necessity to reverse its decision.

RRPP provide vital support and coordination to scholars in and of the Balkans and enabled numerous outstanding research and policy interventions. I know that I benefited greatly when able to share research at the 2010 meeting in Durres. I hope that RRPP will be able to continue with its essential work in the region!
