I belatedly heard about the RRPP programme and was not able to be involved. I think it is a very important as good practical research is much needed in the Balkans.

Without RRPP, WB research community and social science will feel a huge loss, but the future generations of researchers will loose the most - this programm was a real catapult to young researchers' ambitions and carriers.

RRPP program was an excellent experience for me as a junior researcher. This program is crucial for regional researchers and academics within WB countries. We definitely need to gain more initiatives of this kind.

RRPP has significantly contributed to capacity building of policy researchers and policy research institutes in the Balkans. The lack of funding will affect ability of the organizations to attract and retain talented individuals from the region.

RRPP was and is the only fully research-oriented programme beneficial to all - WB countries in general, organisations/institutes/think tanks/universities, and individual researchers. There is still need for RRPP, to continue to build on its legacy for the sustainable future of social science and policy oriented research in this region

As long as independent social science and policy research is not supported by the WB countries' governments in a transparent and focused manner, donor funded projects such as the RRPP are crucial for increasing the visibility and quality of research in the region.

I believe that every single researcher who works for projects that tend to bring ideas about the development of the country or the civil society it's necessary to have support for what they are working. As long as these projects are seen as a huge benefits for the entire country and its people.
