RRPP Projects are valuable for further development in Balkan countries. Being in the project for me was the best chance to gain practical knowledge after my Masters.

I hope that the donor community will provide opportunities for further development of RRPP. Research programs are essential in providing relevant information in social science.

Great opportunity in promoting social science researches in the Western Balkans, in understanding specific needs for reform in these countries. Very happy to be part of this opportunity and keen to cooperate again in the future.

As a peace and conflict researcher with a focus on the Western Balkans and collaborating with many colleagues from the region I strongly support this petition and urge the SDC and the donor community to renew the RRPP or establish a new similar programme.

RRPP must stay in the region. It has been very beneficial to all and it is still needed.

The region still needs continuing support - it is by no means out of the woods after the wars of the 90s

RRPP was probably the only opportunity to scientifically document the vast changes in the Balkans

The petition would be even more relevant if it would not only address the "international donor community" but the authorities of the Western Balkan countries in which the beneficiaries of this programme reside. The IPA programming cycle for the region could easily absorb the programme if the authorities were inspired and informed by the beneficiaries to work on such programming. Regional IPA funding is regularly underused and returned. Best, Tobias Flessenkemper

One of the best research programs for Western Balkans countries. The region is in need for this kind of support.
