Please dont politicised a global pandemic. Why stop Sinovac or any Chinese vaccines based on inactivated vaccines that have been tried and tested world wide, and has even been used in more than one billion jabs world wide. Why go against WHO recommendations and Lancet findings? Even if the efficacies is lower, why stop this vaccine when it can do its job, and at a far cheaper price? After all, the aim is to stop the pandemic as the main criteria without compromising safety. Why trust Moderna, esp when for more than 10 years since her founding, this is the first product, being rushed into use. And esp for a totally revolutionary vaccine based on mRNA. No one has any idea of the long term impact whatsoever. If any long term side effects emerges, it will be akin to Genocide….and the end of the political party.

I was given an option to take Sinovac by the authorities. Since I am anaphylactic, it is certainly a more sensible choice. I have been carrying my Medik Awas card for more than 40 years due to the bad allergic reactions to certain drugs. Why discriminate against helpless citizen like me?

Stop politicising vaccines. Any vaccines cleared and approved by WHO should be recognised. Herd immunity is the global goal. Politicising vaccines will only hamper this initiative.

I do not qualify fir mrna vaccine due to bad drug allergy..feel discriminated by MTF if I go for sinovac..so am still waiting for things to change.

The Government should not discriminate against those who have taken the Sinovac vaccines, afterall, it is the Government who has bought the Sinovac vaccines in the first place and it is also the Government which had released the Sinovac vaccines from its stockpiles to the "approved" designated clinics to adminster the Sinovac vaccines under the SAR. Sadly the Government was not honest upfront to tell those who rushed to queue and register for the Sinovac vaccines that the Sinovac vaccines would be discriminated against. Even Dr Leong Hoe Nam said that to be vaccinated with Sinovac is better than not at all. Bottom line, the Government should have dumped away the Sinovac vaccines if it doesn't recognised its own stockpiles under the NVP! The Government should have purchase other recognised inactivated vaccines knowing that the is a demand in the SG population for the non-mRNA vaccines!!!

Treat all vaccines equally once it is approved. It was a mistake of the Ministry to announce different treatment after approval for almost two weeks.

I have about 3-4 episodes of anaphylactic shock and epipen as a result of allergic reactions to certain seafood and medication. Hence, MRNA vaccine is out for me and I have to opt for Sinovac.
