Contact our 3 County Commissioners and demand they meet and immediately reconsider these draconian and likely unconstitutional edicts. The citizens of Gunnison Country are more than bright enough to understand all the distancing and hygiene guidelines. We don't need experts to help us understand. We get it. The curve flattened weeks ago (cases, hospitalizations, deaths) but the damage to the economy as well as the psyche of the country is eroding before our eyes. Elections have consequences and like the Corner at Brush Creek fiasco, its time to let our 3 commissioners understand We the People are beyond fed up.

This is a great and unfortunately really necessary effort to get this county back on the right track. First the 'tax the second home owners' movement, now kicking them out? Besides the county leaders, replace the Crested Butte council members like Dujardin, who push this divisive agenda.

Social Distancing and Masks should be stressed in shops and businesses. My Mask Protects You ... Your Mask Protects Me. Large group event gatherings should not be allowed. Close Elk Avenue during busy summer months. This needed to be done long ago. Second-Homeowner - Oklahoma

Our Colorado and US Constitutional Rights are being Violated. The US Attorney General is calling on the People to gather data on all Political Leaders who are violation our rights and prosecute. They do not have the right to Quarantine Healthy People, Lockdown the town, Demand Social-Distancing, Tell Us to Wear a Mask, Stop Free Enterprise, Limit our Right to Travel, Our Freedom to Assemble and Praise God. The so-called Leaders of this County have Broken their Oath of Office to Serve this Community and the wonderful people in it. They ought to be Removed, Immediately!! Bring Freedom and Justice back to the People. There is No Scientific Fact to support that this virus is any worse than any other one. Stop the Tyranny Now. ReOpen Our Town.

We visit our Gunnison mountain property every summer and wonder as non-residents if we can be ordered to stay away from our property then what property rights do we really have.

I agree the wrong message was sent to second homeowners.I understand the need for caution, but there was no thought about the fall out such a message would cause. Why would they ever want to come back?
Someone else spoke for us and we had no say so in the matter. Some of our businesses will never be able to recover from this, and it will take months maybe years for some of us to recover from this shut down too. Together we can accomplish Much, but one person acting on behalf of ALL is similar to dictatorship. I know our Health care system did what they thought was right at the time, and I know we still need to be cautious, but we can surely act responsibly and open up our doors. We won't have a town left for ANYONE to enjoy if we continue as is. We have all pulled together through this pandemic so far and we will continue to do so, because that is what Gunnisonites do. We look out for one another, because TOGETHER we are better!
A committee of should be put together consisting of county officials , business owners, health care officials, and towns people so all are represented and get a plan in place. This may be the first time we need it, but I bet it won't be the last time. Stay well everyone.
