This is ridiculous! This virus is not as bad as some of the other that have been around in the last couple centuries and all the data shows it! Stop skewing the numbers and scaring all the people in this county

There is a lack of leadership at the BOCC. It’s terminal. Business should organize, vote 2 out in November and recall the third.

We need to start reopening now. We are suffocating small business that do not want hand outs. These restrictions are unconstitutional and whether or not the county commissioners back the decision of the public we should choose for ourselves to reopen.

While I understand the health concerns everyone has, I felt the letter to second homeowners, threatening fines and jail, was out of line. Everyone knows the Gunnison hospital is not equipped for such a problem, and anyone with Covid would be sent elsewhere in the state. It is unacceptable to use the hospital as rationale for the specious argument that a large group of people (who largely support the hospital and community with their tax dollars) is ordered to leave town and not return until notified. This one person decision has created such terrible animosity and division in our beautiful community. What happens if there is a forest fire? Will we be forced to leave because we can't handle the smoke as well as the locals? This sets a terrible precedent. Do we get a tax break???

I am not a doctor, so can't comment on specific regulations, but I do agree that we need to unite and have a joint plan between CB and Gunny w/ our elected officials.
