Opposition parties, groups and concerned citizens in a collective effort pledged their commitment to work together in bringing an end to the present government that has systematically aggravated all social issues into a huge crisis, almost bringing social life to a complete halt. They are now proposing an alternate to the people called "Consensual People's Accord" that was signed on 22 August in Colombo. The "Collective Power" represents a pluralistic and a democratic society that would replace this constitutional monarchy in the making creating racial savagery and religious dissentions and divisions in society. You are invited to be a party to this alternate political consensus forged by this "Collective Power", as one who wish to see a civilised, decent and a democratic Sri Lanka.

වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවේ දුර්දාන්ත රාජ්‍ය පාලන පිළිවෙත් විසින් දිනෙන් දින ගැඹුරු කරන සකළවිධ සමාජ අර්බුදයන්ට නැවතුම් තිත  තබමින් සමස්ත ජනතාවට විකල්ප මාවතක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමේ සාමූහික ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රික අභිලාෂය පෙරදැරි කොටගත් "සම්මුතිකවාදී මහජන ගිවිසුම"ට විපක්‍ෂයේ ප්‍රධාන දේශපාලන පක්‍ෂ සහ මහජන සංවිධාන අති මහත් බහුතරයක් අගෝස්තු 22 වෙනිදා කොළඹ දී අත්සන් තැබූහ.

අත්තනෝමතික රාජාණ්ඩුවාදයක් වෙනුවට ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රික යහ පාලනයක් ස්ථාපිත කිරීමත්, විසුකුරු වර්ගභේදවාදය හා ආගමික ත්‍රස්තය වෙනුවට බහුවාර්ගික  හා බහු ආගමික ජන කොටස් අතර ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රික සහජීවනයත් ප්‍රතිෂ්ඨාපනය  කිරීමත් මගින් ජනතාවගේ සැබෑ ස්වෛරීභාවය සුරක්‍ෂා කිරීමේ ඒකායන අපේක්‍ෂාව එකී ගිවිසුමට අත්සන් තැබූ සමගි බලවේගය විසින් නියෝජනය කරනු ලබයි.

එම ඓතිහාසික සම්මුතියේ දැනුවත් කොටස්කරුවන් වීමට ශිෂ්ට සම්පන්න, ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රික ශ්‍රී ලංකාවක් පතන ඔබත් රිසි නම් ඔබේ අත්සනින් ඊට දායක වනු පිණිස "සමගි බලවේගය" ඔබට ඇරයුම් කරයි.
