These wetlands are a large and resourceful tool for teaching our students the importance of ecosystem health. As a teacher I visit the fields personally and professionally. Keep these cherished lands safe from developers.

We just bought a house and moved to this area because of this land. We love the view of the celery fields. Our family loves to ride our bikes and spend time in this area.

The public land next to Celery Fields should be developed in a manner that's in harmony with this nature preserve. I sincerely hope our county commissioners listen to the citizens of Sarasota.

Please don't sell these public lands to developers...enough development already! Preserve these lands for public use for future generations...the open space is why I relocated to Sarasota rather than larger cities in Florida. If it gets over-developed and crowded, I'll leave. 75 is already crazy.
