The Celery Fields represent a massive investment of more than $20 million on the part of Sarasota County. They have fundamentally changed the area, and it's time to update land planning to reflect the natural treasure this area has become so that only compatible uses are allowed nearby.

Beautiful land, leave it alone. Plant some trees and make some walking paths. Celery Fields is NOT a place to iindustrialize - DON'T BE SO GREEDY

New to Florida and especially Sarasota and from what I see now compared to what I know is being proposed, the proposed recycling plant is ludicrous and should not be located on that site.

This is a true gift to bird watchers and bird lovers. Many animals, not just birds, call Celery Fields home and it would be a shame for them to have their habitat downgraded because some business ruins the habitat.

I will share this to my Facebook page and Twitter account, then share it to several groups that I'm a member in. Let's save the Celery Fields as a park and safe place for area wildlife.

There are other, better suited locations, for public garbage/ trash utilities. Please immediately cease and desist any forward movement of the above commercial business designations, with regard to the area surrounding "Celery Fields".

Our natural resources are the lifeblood of our communities and our economy....don't give in to the money of developers and corporations. Commissioners, you live here, too!
