Quite ridiculous, it seems quite feasible that living onsite as John is, is not unusual. Maybe Maldon D.C. should look and see just how many other Councils do allow owners of businesses to live on their land to assist their businesses. Think again, as I said quite ridiculous attitude from people who should learn to be more compassionate and understand their responsibilities. Surely he is also bringing in money to the area.

This man has been living and working at this property for many years, why make him homeless after all the work he has put in. I find that things are allowed when it suits them.

There has always been a property on this plot. It is now well cared for and always immaculate. I don’t understand why the council is being so mean..

There does not appear to be any danger or devaluation of the area through this man and his business operation. If there had been it would have been stopped soon after it started. That being the case the Council have clearly felt that there is no problem. Why make one now? On top of that I would rather the money being spent on this somewhat spurious objection be spent in a manner benefitting a large number of people. Schools, help centres, homeless all come to mind. Get a grip on reality MDC.

What a sorry shower MDC are. They can't get anything right. It's all about them and their friends. Typical provincial incompetence and misconduct.

Why are you relentlessly pursuing a man who is of no inconvenience of or danger to anyone should he remain in residence at this site?? This is purely a hate campaign and a vindictive grudge. If the date of limit for the temporary residence/caravan expired in July 2018 why have you been pursuing this man for 12 YEARS!! I find your lack of integrity and incessant persecution utterly disgusting and a disgraceful waste of tax payers money!

Maldon Council should be focusing on building much needed affordable homes and not wasting tax payers money to demolish existing homes, we are in the middle of a housing and homeless crisis. What in God’s name are they thinking

John, I would take up Jenny Kirk's offer. The more this Council is shown up the better. There are some serious issues going on with planning right across Maldon. its known to be one of the worst in the country for obtaining planning permission. The whole Council needs a good shake up.
