This home is doing no harm to anyone, and does not damage the rural setting. Pursuing this is a waste of tax payers money. There are planning breaches that need to be enforced, but this is not one of them. The council perhaps should have done something in 1988, but clearly they didn't so why waste money 20 years later.

This case is an aberration . I hope that Maldon officials will repare this senseless prejudice and let this man leave peacefully on his property.

the man is not asking for a handout he has a home so let him stay. This country is going mad. So if he is made homless you will use our money to rehouse him I hope as it’s not his fault but yours!!!!!

This man is not interfering with anyone else. The land belongs to him. It is not green belt land. Why are you being so difficult about granting him the required permissions???

This is typical of Maldon Council they approve planning applications for their mates, Maldon are the most corrupt council in the country just look at some of the huge houses that are being built on Green Belt land in the area??? How did they get permission????? They need to sack the entire planning department because they are all on the fiddle.

Maldon District Council could not organise a p*ss up in a god damn brewery. You flawessly bully your way into gaining money for your personal gain causing endless misery and suffering to hard working people. Are pencils that exhausting to push for you? SHAME ON YOU. It makes me sick to the stomach driving on potholed roads passing overgrown trees and unkempt 'green space' you clearly don't deserve. Wake up and smell the coffee, the public are not as stupid as you wish them to be and if you continually abuse your powers then higher forces will have no choice but to revoke them and I pray to God THEY DO.

Perhaps our MDC should concentrate on far more serious issues in the area rather than making this Man pull down a perfectly good home that is not an eyesore!! Let’s look at flooding in Heybridge far more important. So shortsighted!

This is just outrageous. Surely this property is causing no harm to anybody else and seeing as it was built in 1988 if there were any problems they would have come to light by now.

Pathetic council's. There is a tree next to where I live and is overhanging the path it could catch someone's eye but they won't do anything. Hope you can stay living there. Do a protest and bring maldon council to a standstill. Good luck

The council are as the EU. Do it our way or you suffer. If has been stated they have taken council tax for a dwelling then this exists in law as a dwelling.

Think it’s disgusting that this man has invested everything he had/has into this to be told they’re going to knock it down. Leave him be
