Diego and I have been parishioners of John Oliver since he was a staff minister on the Daily Show. Now that he has started his own church, it is our dream for him to officiate our eventual* wedding.
More information: Diego and Trish have been together since January of 2011 and at first they struggled to find either a church or a television show that both could wholeheartedly embrace. Since MegaReverend John Oliver entered their lives, however, their relationship has flourished. If Pastor John agrees to officiate their union, they will enter into marriage as the happiest couple ever witnessed at Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption.

The sheer momentum behind this campaign proves that John Oliver cannot simply ignore our devotion to his ministry. He might think he can dodge our wedding invitation but the congregation is growing loud enough to force his hand.

This seems a good and proper way for you two to tie your lives together. I can't imagine any possible reason for this wish to be denied.
