John Lennon was born on October 9, 1940. Mr. Lennon was a great man, someone willing to send the message of peace even at his own inconvenience. John Lennon was not done his work when he was killed on December 8, 1980, by Mark David Chapman. This petition is to make John Lennon's birthday a national holiday to remember Mr. Lennon and to promote peace worldwide.
