What the ... I hope the school will do something. I hope Geneviève Leclerc will change her mind in a good way or be punished for her unacceptable behavior.

I think it is UNACCEPTABLE, and totally DISGUSTING that our "system" protects the perpetrator of a sexual crime, all the while making the VICTIM FEEL LIKE THEY "ASKED" FOR IT !!! No wonder crimes of this nature go "un-reported" !!!

Your collective complicity in sexual violence is disgusting and embarrassing. You must take immediate action to rectify this situation and improve the education and sensitivity of your staff and the wider community.

This is really sickening... Things need to be taken care of and now before more people fall victim to these assaults, that seem to repeatedly happening on JAC grounds. I think that MAKES it JAC's problem.

You had a rapist in your parking lot a few years ago, so clearly there is a problem at JAC. Last time you created a program to walk students to their cars if they felt unsafe. This time you can push for the police to pick up the case again. Take steps to protect your students JAC.

Another ignorant police officer throws a victim under the bus. I can't believe these victim blaming myths and fallacies persist in this day and age. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and outright dangerous for people like Leclerc to be in our police service.

This situation is unacceptable! No rape-kit? That should be mandatory, except if the victim refuses despite knowing what it entails! And that means that the authorities should ALWAYS have ALL the information pertaining to the rape-kit. Today, I am ashamed of the SPVM.

People need to be held accountable for what they did.

I thought we had gone past dismissing cases because the victim doesn't conform to your myths about victimhood

It is more than obvious that this situation was grossly mishandled and that the victim in question was showed a great deal of disrespect. That is not how you treat victims of assault, that is not how you handle something like this. It is imperative that the officers and detectives in charge be removed from the case and that it gets reopened and dealt with appropriately. Not only this, but the school has the responsibility to protect all of its student and to remove whatever and whoever threatens their safety and rights as students and human beings.

It's 2016. There is no excuse not to get all the information when police canvas. Sexual assault is a complex crime that requires consideration and care and the SPVM applied none of it.
