Parce qu'elle a été traité injustement, parce qu'on a porté atteinte à sa dignité...

About time women fight back! Too many women do not speak up, shy away and hide what happens. They feel the police will not believe them like they did to this girl from John Abbot! Some feel that the justice system re-victimizes them in the process. They are treated like a criminal, called liars and sent home as if they do not matter! If all women reported sexual assault maybe the system would change the way they treat women! This has to change, ALL women should report any kind of assault. No one has a right to touch you without your consent. Who could ever imagine that today 2016 that the police would treat a girl in this manner calling her a liar! They should not have dropped the case! More and more should come forward and fight for their rights and not be afraid that the system will let them down.

Unreal. We expect the community to support the victim and expel any and all students who make the campus less safe.

I honestly hope and pray the victim and the likes of the victim is fine. There needs to be more action at a larger scale at the college though. Having mandatory education on sexual assault is a great idea but there needs to be an establishment of a online/phone helpline, a service that victims can reach without the burden of coming out.

I think this should be investigated and should not be ignored. This is an important matter.

its crazy to me that this is happening so close to home. you wouldn't think in a college that is so well respected that they neglect whats happening right under their nose. it saddens me that the victim didn't get the justice she deserves. watching one part of a interaction cant explain a whole situation. will it take another student to get something done?

Rape culture and the flippant attitude toward justice when it concerns a woman needs to end NOW.

Make school safe. Consent can be there one minute and as soon as someone says not, there is no more consent. Just because the videos caught one part of an interaction means absolutely nothing.

Unacceptable handling on all fronts. I hope this petition will help.

As an alumni, I'm disappointed a petition is necessary, and hope you will stand up to do what is necessary to protect the right of all students to go to school without fear.
