As a JAC alumni, who lived on campus, in residence for all 3 of my years there, I am shocked and terrified to think how easily a situation like this, if it had happened to me, could have made me afraid to go to school every morning, and inevitably, ruined my life. This assault happened ON SCHOOL GROUNDS, how could you just turn a blind eye and allow this boy back into the school without so much as a second look into the case? You owe it to your students, male and female, to stand up for their safety, and to demand further investigation.

So let me get this right...if your friendly to someone before you rape them, then it's OK? Montreal cops are the worst!
John Abbot is no better. You can get expelled for cheating yet let back into school for rape? And the reason he is back in school is because dumb Montreal police did not file charges? Again, if you cheat on an exam, there are no police charges, yet suspended...someone explain the difference!

I don't understand how schools can still ignore this serious issue. I hope we all keep bringing awareness and fighting for a change. My thoughts and support for the victim.
