I went to this school for 3 years and never once thought it would happen here, I thought we were better than this. But no, we're not better than this. She deserves better.

Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. My heart goes out to the victim and her family. No one should have to go through an ordeal like that and afterwards see no justice. This case should be further investigated.

This is for all of those who had to go through assault or have been attacked by any means.

It is sickening how the police and the school chose to drop the case as though it is not worth the trouble, yet sexual assault has a life changing impact on the victim/survivor. This contradiction happens all too often and it is infuriating. Victims/survivors need all the support they can get in order to get onto the path to recovery, although the incident is never forgotten no matter how many years it has been since. This negligence on behalf of the police is part of the reason as to why (serial) rapists get away with their crimes. They are in the position to make a difference and they fail to do so, so shame on them! When a woman reports an assault it takes a tremendous amount of courage, she does not need the police and her school dismissing her, which is a form of victimization itself, rather they should support her fully and see it through that the perpetrator is held accountable for his actions.

In my first year I was physically assulted by a teacher, and JAC did nothing to rectify the situation. I am therefore not surprised as to how this case has been handled yet I am still extreamly disapointed and truly disgusted none the less.

Any man who takes a woman by force and claims she "enjoyed it" is an ignorant piece of defecation. While both sides must be heard, justice must be served.

I'm going to be a first year student at Abbott, and I shouldn't be worried or skeptical to go to school. It should be a safe place so we can learn, not a place where girls can't feel safe to walk around alone.

Balance is needed in this world and I believe it will be achieved when justice comes were it is due. The assaultee should seek help in a support group or psychologist. They never need to be or feel alone.
