The Round Rock ISD board finalized the Middle School Boundary plan on 11/17/16 to move Joe Lee Johnson students away for Chisholm Trail to Deer Park Middle School. The initial proposal had us staying at Chisholm Trail. However, after listening to others' voice their concerns on why they did not want to be moved at three public hearing meetings, they changed their final proposal to accommodate them and moved us withou giving us any public hearings to voice our desire to stay at Chisholm Trail Middle School.

Chisholm Trail is much closer in proximity than Deer Park (approximately half the distance).

Half of Joe Lee Johnson's attendance zone has been attending Chisholm Trail for years.

Although the decision has been made, we the undersign are not in agreement and do not feel like we were given a fair voice in this process.
