This amendment is purposefully transphobic and exclusionary. As a member of the LQBTQ community and a PHQ, I stand with my trans siblings in opposition to this hateful amendment.

The last thing individuals who are transitioning need is to be disconnected and rejected from a community.

Não acho certo que uma ordem que prega igualdade e liberdade, faça algo com tamanho desrespeito.

Any teenager in this position needs support not rejection.

God made all individuals equal and therefore prejudice should not enter into the fact that we are all His. And we all deserve to be treated with fairness, justice, and most of all love and respect.

It is a sad day when an origination that I joined 53 years ago is considering persecuting people who have realized that nature made a mistake when it came to their gender. We have three words that we were supposed to live by, patience, faith, reward. I always felt that patience was not only the patience of waiting for something good to happen but also patience with our fellow man. Faith was not just faith in God but faith in each other and reward was not just the reward that God would give us but the reward of being as good of a person to each other as we possibly could.
In acting this new ruling will not uphold our basic rules of patience, faith, reward. It is rather a hate and fear tactic and will ruin our organization.

There’s no reason to politicize someone’s history of achievement and dedicated service to our organization because of a later gender transition. This is incredibly mean-spirited and niche legislation that enriches and protects no one. The total amount of impacted individuals is so small this is either a hypothetical situation being discussed because of prejudice or a nasty attempt to crush the spirit of a specific individual or individuals. Let transmen keep the parts of their histories they are proud of and become brothers in our masonic circles.

This is shameful, and I don’t want to be associated with any organization that is promoting hate in this world. There is already too much hate without adding to it.

This is not the Job's Daughters that I know and love. This is not the organization that helped me fight depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation as a teen. This is not the inclusive, loving, safe space that we need it to be. These amendments are hateful and not remotely Christ-like.

Acceptance and tolerance is needed. Tribalism is base and in some cases, inhumane.
