Job's Daughter Members, MM, Adults Against 2019 Proposed Supreme Amendments

This doesn't seem right at all :( Stripping someone of previous titles because they make a life decision is like telling them they make a wrong life decision and taking away everything they did previously. It doesn't really make sense. I'm a little confused by such a proposal that just seems like it's out to hurt people when our organizations are supposed to be here to support and love each other like family.

Treating people who have already earned their titles and honors like they are less he human unconscionable!

Our youth organizations are here to support, love and lift our youth UP. And especially our youth that are at higher risk. And anyone who earned their titles deserve to keep their titles no matter what gender you are. You do not choose to be transgender. It is who they are. They are just like you and I, wanting to live their truest life in love, respect and peace.

If I were to transition I would still retain my titles and rights as a primary care provider under my new identity.. This really is a punitive action that has no place in this organization

As a MM and a parent of a PHQ who is currently in the process of transitioning but has not yet technically aged out I have felt more negativity from adults than any of the daughters. My son is still supported, loved and wanted in the lives of his Bethel members but had received negative and harsh remarks from the adults who cannot step away from their personal prejudices and realize that this organization is for the children and not them. Any transgender individual should be treated as if they aged out. They put years and lots of hard work into the organization and still hold that time dear to their heart and that shouldn’t be diminished because adults cannot figure out what their own children have. They are still people and deserving of recognition of their hard work. However, as a parent of a transgender child, I can state that although he wants to be seen as a male and some accolades are not necessary he would still like to have the opportunity to be part of specific events for his sisters that he has been a part of their lives, such as being able to be part an installation ceremony.

I stand with my LGBTQ sisters and brethren. Titles were earned with hard work, sweat and tears. To be stripped of something so integral to the very foundations of my identity would be inconceivable. I vehemently oppose these amendments. I also choose love, and offer safe haven to those in the LGBTQ Masonic community. PHQ & MM

This is crazy! Please come into the 21st century and join us in love and acceptance.

We are on the cusp of something wonderful or tragic. I choose wonderful; to include everyone, to stand up for everyone, to accept everyone.

As an Idaho Past Grand Guardian, I oppose these amendments.

Please omit these proposed changes. They are going to bring negative media attention that the organization doesn’t need.

They did the work; they deserved the accolades. Period.

I desagree, don't have to forget what the person did for and in the Jobs daughters, she did, she exist, she is a person, not a trash to be descarted. And she will have idea that she have to leave the Jobs daughters, with this i agree. (I'm from Brazil, Bethel #28)
