While the Collegedale Police were having a hay day jumping to conclusions and actually charging an innocent man, someone we all love dearly has been effecting drastically by these outrageous charges. Dangit Jimmy youre a good man thoughts and prayers brother.

As a student at SAU who was effected by the lockdown I would like to show my support for Gaines. Gaines does not deserve jail time. At worst, give the guy a fine - but 3 years in jail? I know gangsters who don't get that much time. If the FBI let him go, why in the world is Hamilton charging him? Clearly this is all a big misunderstanding. Please show some sympathy Hamilton, and drop the charges on Gaines so he can move on with his life.

Let's use common sense in distinguishing real threats from false. The fact that he immediately realized how his words sounded, even in jest, and took them back, distinguishes him from the kind of neurotic, anxious, rage-motivated person that actually takes those kinds of dangerous actions. I am praying for the charges to be dropped.
