Whereas educational excellence is best achieved through independently run schools;

Whereas investing in education saves the state millions in unemployment, TANF, Medicaid and crime prevention every year;

Whereas quality education is key to the prosperity of Florida as a whole and to the quality of life of its residents;

Now, therefore, in consideration of the above;

We, supporters and affiliates of numerous Jewish religious schools throughout the state, do hereby encourage our Governor, Gov. Rick Scott, to promote and enhance the abilities of Florida children to receive a quality, religious and morality based education.

Being that many families are struggling to afford this most essential service for their child(ren), one that has a profound effect on the rest of their lives, this petition comes as an urgent request.

We also thank Gov. Scott for his accomplishments in the area of education and encourage a support through individualized educational mandates as a needed solution toward furthering Florida's educational goals.
