The quiet surrounding the Deir El Sultan monastery is becoming impossible for the authorities to ignore. I have been spending my nights translating your stories and messages to ensure the history of this site is preserved for the next generation. We are preparing to bring these signatures directly to the officials who remain silent while our sacred space sits in neglect.

Seeing this momentum grow brings me a sense of peace because the monastery has been my sanctuary for so many years. Knowing so many of you value this sacred site gives me hope that its history will be preserved for the next generation.

The monastery belongs to the monks. Stop letting politics get in the way of people just trying to pray in peace.
Why is this still an issue?? Just fix the building already.
So sad to hear about the conditions there. Praying for justice for the ethiopian community.
My family visited Jerusalem years ago and this was the highlight. It needs maintenance and care immediately.
This place is so historic and important. Please do the right thing and restore access!

Absolutely ridiculous that it has reached this point. Save the heritage before it falls down.
