The B.B.C. has confirmed that Jeremy Clarkson will not be returning to the network. I appreciate the resolve shown by those who joined me in requesting professional accountability. We must now remain diligent to ensure that such rhetoric is not tolerated in public discourse moving forward.
Jeremy Clarkson should be sacked by the B.B.C., for his inflammatory and ill-informed remarks on the "One Show",suggesting that Strikers should be "shot in front of their families"
The petition has now reached two hundred and fifty signatures. This level of engagement indicates that many share the concern regarding these comments.

The momentum behind this petition highlights a significant public refusal to accept such rhetoric. It is clear that many people expect a higher standard of conduct from those who represent a national broadcaster.

He should be treated the same as everyone else would be. Any acusation against him should be investigated and he should be suspended whilst this is carried out. If he has abused one of his colleagues he sould be dismissed

He is everything that is abhorrent about the worst kind of arrogant, offensive British male. I don't think the public should be paying him through the license fee to offend people. His inflated sense of self is sickening.

Please find some one talented and mentally stimulating to replace Clarkson whom the entire family find to be an oafish misogamist. He has run his course BBC and is totally undeserving of tax payers funding
So much young talent out there.

If he did this in a real workplace there would be no discussion . Suspension followed by dismissal . how long as I as a licence payer have to put up with this mans racism , xenophobia and now violence ? Man up BBC and do what you should have done months ago .

If he's guilty of gross misconduct, he should be sacked and maybe prosecuted.
Top Gear will survive (Have I Got News For You survived and thrived after Angus Deayton) and sadly there's plenty more self-opinionated bigots who could seamlessly replace Clarkson.

If this revolting person really finds it necessary to behave in this manner, let him do so out of his own funds (and he has more pound coins than you and I are ever likely to see in our lives) and not be subsidised by our licence fees.

Clarkson regularly uses his programme to air his narrow-minded, xenophobic and just plain racist, narrow-minded opinions as well as his right-wing politics. He is a puerile, offensive bigot and after his latest display of selfish, juvenile behaviour, I will be very disappointed if he is not sacked.
