استمرارا" لعملية التمييز ضد المرأة في لبنان و خاصة فيما يتعلق بحقها في منح جنسيتها لأولادها , قررت جمعية المبادرة الفردية لحقوق الانسان القيام بحملة تواقيع تنص على التالي :
نحن مواطنون ومواطنات,لبنانيين ولبنانيات نؤيد حق منح المرأة اللبنانية جنسيتها لأولادها كما نص الدستور اللبناني في مادته السابعة. و المادة السابعة هي كالأتي : كل اللبنانيين سواء لدى القانون وهم يتمتعون بالسواء بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية ويتحملون الفرائض والواجبات العامة دونما فرق بينهم
