Would love to see these great parks join as 1 and the proper renaming is the first step.

I had the honor of meeting Leroy when I was 18 years old and in high school. He was at the school testing the water and we had a brief conversation about Disc Golf. The passion he had could be felt in the words he used. Little did I know I would go on to forge a friendship with Leroy that would see us play in and Win The Can-Am cup together as the Ace Holes. A 20+ year friendship was cut way to short but I can’t think of a better way to honor his legacy to the sport of Disc Golf and Medina then naming them after him. I strongly hope this happens. Thanks and you are missed Leroy but not forgotten.

I was born in Cleveland a few weeks before Leroy. We always had a $1 a round side wager when we played at several Worlds. Miss the big guy with a big heart and his service to the sport he loved.

One of the most professional nicest guys I've had the honor to compete with since the 1990's.

Such a great man. He did so much for Disc Golf. Renaming this course in his honor is a no brainer. RIP Leroy
