Leroy Jenkins Memorial Disc Golf Course

Leroy built disc golf in Ohio. I have been active in the sport for over twenty years. He truly forged the path and deserves to be honored.

While I learned to love disc golf in Ashtabula County Ohio, the Jenkins family was well known to me. Ohio disc golf and Jenkins go together. Honor Leroy Jenkins with this name change!

Changing the name to the park to rename it after Leroy Jenkins would be best since he and Sharon put so much work in to see that the park is appreciated and utilized by so many because of disc golf.

I met Leroy at the 2012 PDGA world championship in charlotte through a mutual friend that is also from Medina. Leroy was a class act guy super friendly to me and great ambassador to the sport of disc golf.

Leroy Jenkins was always a class act. I enjoyed the few times we played together in a tournament. He is a pioneer of the game Disc Golf.
